The City of Joensuu is building a roundabout at the intersection of Vanharaitti, Tikkamäentie, Suvantosilta and Karjalankatu. Paving work will take place from 1 to 15 October, and the intersection will be closed to car traffic during this time.

Bus routes will also change:

• Buses 1, 101, 102, 201, 202 and 204 will use Tikkamäentie.
• Buses 3, 103, 104, 112 and 114 will drive directly via Niinivaarantie.

Bus stops in the construction area on Karjalankatu will be temporarily closed. Busses driving through Niinivaara will not stop at the Itäranta bus stops.
