Christmas and New Year bring exceptions to the operation of JOJO and ELY services. In addition, school day shifts are not run during school holidays in basic education. The autumn term of the schools ends on Thursday 21 December 2023 in Ilomantsi, Joensuu, Lieksa, Liperi and Polvijärvi and on Friday 22 December 2023 in Kontiolahti and Tohmajärvi. Spring semester starts on Monday 8 January 2024.
Christmas traffic
* On Christmas Eve Sunday 24.12. Sunday traffic, JOJO services are not run after 1 p.m. A list of the last JOJO shifts. ELY traffic services are not run.
* On Christmas Day on Monday 25th December not operated
* On Boxing Day on Tuesday 26.12. Sunday traffic, ELY traffic S and SS services
New Year's and Epiphany Traffic
* On New Year's Eve, Sunday 31 December, there will be a Sunday service
* On New Year's Day on Monday 1 January there will be Sunday traffic, ELY traffic S and SS services
* On Epiphany Saturday 6 January, Sunday services, ELY traffic S-services will be run
The North Karelia Travel Combination Centre (MYK) is closed on weekdays from 25 to 26 December 2023. When the Travel Combination Center is closed, Noutopoika 1 and 2 do not operate.
