Prams and the accompanying person travel free of charge on low-entry-buses (see timetable booklet for more information). When travelling with a child in a pram, please be prepared that you may not be able to fit to travel on the first bus.

Pets may travel on the bus with no extra cost. Police dogs, guide and assistance dogs  are always allowed on the bus. Decision of bringing other pets on board is made by the driver of the bus on a case-by-case basis. The driver will be allowed to prohibit bringing a pet on board if the bus is close to its maximum capacity, there are other pets on the bus already or if other passengers object bringing the pet on board. The owner of the pet is responsible for ensuring that the pet does not disturb any other passengers. Pets ought to be placed on the bus so that they cause as little disturbance to other passengers as possible.

Decision of bringing bicycles, electric scooters and other bulky items on the bus is made by the driver of the bus on a case-by-case basis. You must purchase a children’s ticket for you bicycle or electric scooter which may be paid with a Waltti card.

If you have lost property or your travel card on a bus, contact the bus company in question.

Waltti cards found on buses are returned to Carelicum service point, Koskikatu 5.

By keeping your Waltti travel card, mobile ticket or exact change for a single ticket ready at hand you facilitate the work of the driver and help the bus to run on schedule. Use the front door when you step onto the bus. If you travel with a pram, pushchair or a walker, use the middle door of the bus.

There might be a shortage of seats during crowded rush hours. Please be kind enough to give up your seat for the elderly, disabled and pregnant. Do not occupy an empty seat by putting your bag on it.

If all seats are occupied, start filling the aisle by moving to the back of the bus.

Be considerate when you use your mobile phone or other mobile devices.

Be considerate towards your fellow passengers already when you are waiting for the bus and refrain from smoking near the bus stop.
