Demand Responsive Transport NOUTOPOIKA is a form of public transport which is open to all and in which the bus routes are based on the needs of customers, instead of operating on fixed routes.
Rural transport services are available in Kiihtelysvaara, Tuupovaara, Eno and Uimaharju.
In Kontiolahti rural transport is operated by MENOPELI.

Call the Noutopoika-bus by calling North Karelia travel dispatch center (MYK), +358 13 337 7002. Noutopoika-bus will pick you up from the agreed location. Make your booking at least one hour before your departure. On the bus you can pay your journey with cash.You can also use your Waltti card or download a ticket app on your mobile phone and buy single ticket directly to your mobile phone.
Demand responsive taxes operate in Kiihtelysvaara, Tuupovaara, Eno and Uimaharju. Taxes run on fixed routes according to schedule, but will deviate from its route slightly if needed. Call the taxi at least one day before by calling the driver directly, indicate your destination and agree the schedule with the driver. You can pay your journey only in cash.
